Viva Las Vegas

We headed home from Utah on May 2nd and stopped off in Las Vegas, not really intending to stay. Neither Jose, nor I had ever really spent any time there (I went to the temple dedication and ate at the Tropicana buffet when I was 12) so we just decided to take a look at the Bellagio and then head on home.

Well, no wonder people stay there! It was gorgeous, and not in a tacky Las Vegas way. There is a huge atrium inside that was filled with flowers and these gigantic ants and butterflies. It was like being Alice in Wonderland, tiny creatures in a BIG garden! We all loved it.

After we explored the Bellagio inside, we went outside to see the water fountain show, and it knocked our socks off. So we decided to stay and watch it again, and again, and again. After we'd sat and watched it for a solid hour (it goes every 15 minutes) we figured we might as well have an early dinner there.
