BYU Bowling

The day after Jake and Toby's graduation, we all decided to head over to the BYU campus. Jose really wanted to see it, never having been to BYU before. And he was itching to buy himself a BYU sweatshirt and hat at the Bookstore.

Grandma and Grandpa were amazing and agreed to take the grandkids bowling, right there in the Wilk, while Jake, Toby, Jose and I shopped at the Bookstore.

It was Clark's first time bowling and he loved it! And we loved getting to browse without worrying about him. It was wonderful! I really enjoyed seeing how the Bookstore had changed, and stayed the same, since I worked there in the Children's department in 2001. I even got to chat with the manager of the Religion section, who didn't remember me, but was nice anyway!

I just love this picture of Clark. So determined. He really is quite the little athlete. Like his dad. And like his Uncle Jake! He can do anything sports related and I am constantly amazed by his coordination and love of athleticism. He certainly didn't get that from his mother!

I guess a lot of people think that a visit to Provo isn't complete without a trip to The Brick Oven, or Heaps, if you go back that far! Jake and I both worked there after I got home from my mission and my memories are not fond. The pizza and root beer were better than I remembered, though, so the stop wasn't a total loss! At the very least I think we all had fun. And we might even go back someday!

Oh now I understand. These posts about Las Vegas were from May. Ha haa. I feel dumb. Well, it looks like a good time. And I LOVE LOVE LOVE that you paid a visit to the B.O. as we so lovingly called it back in the day. Poor Kim. I'll never forget what a nightmare that job/semester was for you. COmplete with a work related injury. :( Good thing you let me be your friend even after that semester.
