This is one of the old buildings on the ranch. This is where Jose's mom lived when she and his dad were first married and where some of her children were born. Jose was born "in town" several years later, as the 4th of 6 children.
It's pretty run down now, and this is what it looks like inside. I don't think that they even use it anymore. Jose said it used to be really pretty.
The door is tiny. Even I had to duck to get inside. I'm only 5'4" folks. Jose is 5'10" which is pretty dang tall in Mexico. He's the tallest in his family nowadays. I guess his grandpa was really tall too.
