I love that quote from Vanessa Redgrave in Mission Impossible. She says that anonymity is "like a warm blanket." A few of our friends must feel the same way. A few weeks ago, when we were seriously strapped for cash, a "friend" dropped off a
very generous Target gift card on our doorstep. "Just felt you could use this," the card read. Then last night, we were ding dong ditched and the culprits left a pretty plate of
yummy brownies. The note wished us a "happy day." They couldn't have known that our day hadn't been so happy and that just receiving such a gift brought us the happiness we needed. We've been trying to figure out a way to express our thanks to our unknown benefactors, but that's tough when we don't know who they are. So, we are sending our heartfelt gratitude out into cyberspace, where we hope it will find those generous souls. Thank you so much for your love.
