Wikieup
The best thing about the stretch of highway 93 on our way home from Utah is a little place called Luchia's in Wikieup; there's a gift shop and a restaurant with darn good homemade pie. The back patio is amazing...there's a fountain and pond with actual lily pads and lots of old timey gadgets, like a an old stove and a roller washing "machine." The last time we stopped there, I didn't think to take pictures, but this time around, I was so excited to actually get a picture of a peacock showing off! Beware the koi in the pond, however. They would like to chew off your fingers! Clark tried to grab one to take home with us and was delighted by the fact that they would jump on top of one another out of the water to try to get at the 25-cents-per-cup fish food. Half creepy, half mesmerizing. And the peacock feathers are $1.25. A bargain.
