July and August have brought with them a crazy monsoon season here in the Valley of the Sun. It's been muuuuuggggy. Like Texas. And how you have to come in and peel your clothes off a layer at a time.

During some particularly fierce wind, with its accompanying dark and frightening clouds and threatening rain, I forced Clark outside on the back patio for a photo shoot.

What we ended up with, post-processing because it was too dark outside to expose Clark's face and the background at the same time, are some darling, and
extremely not scary weather shots of my little one. I blame it on this kid's insane stick-straight spiky hair, which doesn't blow around in the wind. At all.
