Front Loader

August 20th, we headed up to Snowflake, just for the day. We made the trip up there so that Jose could take a look at a house for which he was asked to make a bid. The house is right around the corner from my grandparents' home and they are remodeling it and need a new a/c system. We were planning to leave early in the day, but didn't get out of the valley until late afternoon and made it to Snowflake just in time for dinner, thanks Grandma!

After dinner with Grandma and Grandpa, we headed over to the house and what to our wondering eyes should appear, than a front loader parked in the yard, a John Deere. Heaven, in yellow. Clark actually asked me to take pictures of him in it. Then, after all the fun, we went over to Uncle Joe's house to play with Joey for a little bit, and then we headed back home, at 10:30 pm.

We really thought we could make it. But we were sorely mistaken. Clark was so pumped up, what with the heaven on wheels and the playing with cousins, that he could not fall asleep and began wailing instead. We made it to Payson, which is a good hour and a half from home, and stopped and stayed the night in a suite, because the hotels were all full, it being rodeo weekend, and all. The next morning, as we neared Saguaro Lake, Jose claimed we were about 20 minutes from home and bet me $100 that he was right; I had told him we were at least 40 minutes out. At least. I totally won.
