Clark's imagination has taken off lately. And usually involves some kind of train in need of repair or serious construction site problem. Almost always, something has
crashed! It's all very exciting.

He surprised me a bit the other day, though, when he piled up all the pillows and hid under the blanket and told me that he was a little bird and that he was "building a nest, Mom!" It was very sweet. Made me think about what it might be like to have a little girl around.

It also made me think about my childhood imaginary friends, Teeny and Ceedy. (Don't knock the names, they were very fancy.) They were little tiny, like Thumbelina, and they lived in my pajama drawer. I've wondered a few times if Clark has any imaginary friends. I don't think so. He just pretends to talk to Bob the Builder and Handy Manny on the phone a lot. They have
lots of work that needs to be done.
