Betty Crocker Yoda

For those of you that know me pretty well, and that's probably 99.9% of the three people that still read my blog, you know that for me there is one Chocolate Chip Cookie recipe that towers above all the rest. It's from the 1970's orange Betty Crocker cookbook. Incomparable, it is. Perfectly serious, I am.

I've made a couple of very important substitutions that you must follow in order to partake of the world's most divine chocolate chip cookie.

1. Always use milk chocolate chips.
2. Use oatmeal instead of nuts.
3. Blue Bonnet Margarine is critical.

Trust me. Bake them. And thank me, you will.

That's hilarious! I read your blog... just so you know. I don't even remember the last time I made cookies! I guess I'll have to try it out!

I did know that bit of trivia about you. I have also made the cookies and think they're pretty tasty. (Coming from a non-cookie fan that means a lot.)
