Sweet Memories

These are some of my favorite pictures of the whole trip. They remind me of some of my favorite moments. Clark playing with his Lego City transport set, Jenni playing the guitar and singing songs for him, and my dad reading bedtime stories to him every night. Those were good and precious times.
I have a couple of other special memories that I never want to forget:
At one point during the trip, all the other kids were asleep and while all the adults were chatting, Clark starting quietly singing The First Noel to himself as he played with some trains. He sang both verses. The first verse almost word for word, and he missed a few words on the second one. I'm so glad he didn't realize that we had all stopped to listen until he was finished. It was one of my most favorite things that he has ever done.
Another time when we were all sitting around the living room chatting, Clark climbed up on one of my mom's wing-backed chairs to look at the picture of the Savior at the pool of Bethesda, by Carl Bloch. Mom said she has never had a little kid look at the picture like that. It was pretty sweet. Except for the climbing on the furniture part. :)
