Grand Canyon

The clouds parted just long enough for us to get out and see the gorgeous Grand Canyon. It literally started raining again moments after we got back in the car to go home. It was breathtakingly beautiful. And honestly, I must be getting old because I was a little terrified walking out near the edge. It is a long way down. Jose absolutely fell in love with the Grand Canyon. It was the first time he or Ari or Clark had ever seen it; I was the only Grand Canyon veteran! But Jose was the most impressed by it. He started planning a trip back before we even left. And of course, we got some famous Jacob Lake cookies on our way out. The lemon zucchini are to die for, but they were unfortunately out of my favorites, the chocolate clouds. Mmmm. Chocolate cookies with a marshmallow on top and then the whole thing is smothered in chocolate. Good thing Jose is planning a trip back, I tell ya.
