Happy Birthday Jose!

Jose's birthday, September 6th, started off with breakfast at Einstein's Bagels and presents, nearly all of which were opened by our little soon-to-be-four-year-old munchkin. Clark and I made a birthday cake that afternoon and it's the first real enthused licking of the bowl that we've had around here by anyone other than yours truly! The birthday boy chose Blue Wasabi for din-din. I thought it was just a spiffy name, but they do indeed have blue wasabi at Blue Wasabi. As opposed to the original green, for those who aren't sushi lovers; and for the record, it's a little disconcerting (to me) to eat the blue version. After dinner, we came home and put the munchkin to bed and had my cousins, Nick and Brittany, over for cake and ice cream. Later in the month we had another shin-dig with friends. Fun, fun, fun!
