Happy Easter!

Happy Easter! This is Clark's Easter basket. I had a lot of fun putting it together this year because I knew he'd really enjoy it. He loved the matchbox cars and played with them for a while before he figured out that there was candy to be eaten! He put a whole eggs worth of jelly beans in his mouth all at the same time! It was pretty darn funny. Of course, then he spit them all out on the couch... :)

While I was getting ready for church (I had a solo during one of the choir numbers), Aunt Jenni got Clark dressed and ready for church and he let her!!! He looked so cute in his dress shirt and pinstripes. I'm such a proud mom.

Bummer that the picture when we are all actually smiling was out of focus. Oh well. This is in front of our house after church. We had such great meetings. I was pretty proud of myself for not totally losing it during the songs.

We went to dinner at the Smith's with the Stimpsons, Kings, Curtis's, and Lena Smith. This is Clark eating the tablecloth in the backyard. We had ham and R.S. potatoes and salad and Jose and I made deviled eggs. Yum!

After dinner we all went over to the little park by the Smith's and had an Easter egg hunt. Clark just loved running around and going on the slide ALL BY HIMSELF!!! Well, I take that back, he loved the candy too. This kid has been on a sugar high all day long! After the hunt, we went back to the Smith's for dessert and a really cool Easter sing-a-long. We sang primary songs about Jesus while a video playing scenes from His life was going. It was so great. Clark watched the whole thing. It was such a wonderful day.

I love the pinstripes! Where did you find that? Easter egg hunts are so much more fun as the parent than I ever remember them being as a child:)

Yeah, the pinstripes are great, huh. Hand-me-downs from Clark's cousins, but I'm pretty sure my mom bought it in Germany at H&M. I know. Too bad we don't have such cute stuff here!

Kim, one of these days, I bet you're just going to lose it. If one of my kids spit a mouthful of jelly beans all over the couch, I would have more to say than "It was so cute." You are very very nice.

Really good photos, Kimmie. I'm home sick with a cold today and a donut for a tire. Our brand new Elantra picked up a screw - I have yet to make it down to Discount Tires and pick up a new one - a tire that is, not a screw. :) Ha. Love ya!
