Easter Eggs

I've never attempted to dye Easter eggs with Clark until this year. Call me crazy, but it just seemed like a disaster waiting to happen. I even bought a Lightning McQueen Egg dyeing kit 2 years ago. Been sitting up in the cupboard this whole time, but I've been too chicken (ha!) to break it out. This year, after reading all my friend's blogs and watching them swirl around rubber cement and hard-boiled eggs (yes, you heard right, rubber cement for crying out loud!) with their toddlers, I got brave and marked my calendar. April 23rd. The day before Easter. Egg Decorating with Clark.

It went spectacularly well! Clark was so excited and so well behaved. And so careful. I'm just pleased as punch. So, maybe we'll attempt the rubber cement technique next year. Maybe.
