Happy 4th of July!
This is my favorite picture of fireworks, even though it wasn't taken on the 4th. But, this picture makes me feel patriotic, so I went ahead and posted it. All of these pictures are from the New York Times.
This one is from today. Gotta love fireworks in NYC! Just love fireworks. Jose went with his buddies from the ward on a much-deserved night fishing trip, so I'm home with a sleeping Clark. It's okay, though, the pictures of fireworks almost as good as the real thing for me!
These are the ARMY soliders in Baghdad today. I love soldiers. They are truly brave and sacrifice a lot for us and our freedom. At least the media seems to appreciate them a little more nowadays too. May God be with them always.
September 11, 2001I try to remember that day on the 4th of July too. And all the people who gave their lives to help others because it was the right thing to do.
