Twinkle Twinkle

Clark "helped" Mommy make apple pie today! Poor kid wasn't feeling well--I think the culprit is an ear infection--and I needed to make dessert for a dinner tomorrow night, so I had to figure out what would keep Clark entertained while he wanted me to hold him. I figured what the heck? Let the kid in on the fun! He of course loved "making" pie. Too cute (and messy!) for words.
I have to share this little story about last night, too. I was putting Clark to bed last night and was in the middle of my usual sing-about-a-million-primary-songs repertoire, when Clark started singing "kei-kgo, kei-kgo" to the tune of Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. Granted, it was only about 4 notes, but I've played Name That Tune before and my child was definitely singing Twinkle Twinkle!!! I started singing it with him, and he got the biggest smile on his face! It was such a great moment. I love hearing his new "words" everyday; it's the best! My favorite is upsidedown: up-sawh-doh, and he turns his head upsidedown when he says it! SO CUTE!

Clark is such a cutie pie. I am sure he had a blast "baking" with you. I always have fun watching him play in church. I know he runs you ragged, but he sure is a fun little guy!

P.S. Love what you've done with the place!

I love it!! He is soooo cute. I agree with the fun of hearing each new word. And it is the best when they start singing along and picking there own songs.
