Gwen's Gift
Gwen challenged me to a story duel...here's what she said on her blog:
"Do you have a story? One that makes you say "Wow," and it makes you feel good to reflect on it, to remember it, and to possibly share it? I do! I thought we might like sharing them, so here is one of mine. What's your story, girlfriends? I tag Ashleigh, Jen, Auburn, Michelle and Kim!"
So, here it goes. When I moved to Arizona about 3 years ago, I was feeling kinda down in the dumps because I had a lot of weight to lose, (Gee, love how that story keeps repeating itself in my life! But if I can do it once, I can do it again!) and Gwen took me to Nordstrom for a makeover and bought me an eyebrow compact from Prescriptives. I know, what a fantastic friend!
My "Wow" story is that over 3 years later, having used the compact faithfully, everyday (I have the great eyebrows to prove it, see photo taken today), the compact she bought for me isn't even close to being used up (see photo again)! Okay, if that's not a "Wow" story, I don't know what is!!! Thanks Gwen! You gave me the gift that keeps on giving!
