Bushman Family Reunion
The Bushman Family Reunion took place in Rocky Point, Mexico this year from July 16-July 19th. It was fantastic!!! There were around 45 Bushmans in attendance.
Jenni drove down with us from Arizona. We had a grand time in two huge beach houses. Ours was called Casa Alhaja.
This is the back porch. I know. It's gorgeous. We were right on the beach. Ah. I can't think of anything else to say...perfect vacation, that's all.Grandma and Grandpa Bushman were there. Grandma looks so cute!
I gave Clark a bath in our bathroom sink. This is the modest photo we took later. I can't stand it he's so adorable!
We love Aunt Bonnie. She and Aunt Becky told some really funny stories about growing up in the Bushman household...mostly about how she couldn't stand sharing a room with Becky.
Bonnie taught a watercolor class during the reunion. I was so excited to do something creative while Clark was down for a nap! So, this is my very first watercolor ever. I like to think that the buildings are in Italy.
I wanted to take a picture of Clark looking at the ocean, but the tile was too hot. So I took off my flip flops and had him stand on them for the photo. But when I got back far enough to take the picture, I realized that he was more interested in looking down at the flip flops. Of course! Turned out to be such a cute photo!
It was beautiful! There were shells all over the beach, and the water was warm...only bummer was the jellyfish! About 6 or 7 of the group got stung. Okay, this is one of my favorite pictures of all time. These are the stairs leading up to the roof of the house. I love how Clark is holding on to the step; he's sooooo cute!!!!
Clark's first tentative steps into the ocean.
He got the hang of it! He enjoyed the water for a few minutes, but the fun was pretty short-lived. Maybe when he's older...
Love the smiles! Jenni and I lamented that for some reason, we can rarely get his smiles on film...little stinker.
Clark loves his Aunt Jenni! They had a terrific time, splashing in the ocean.
Mexico was good to us. Bonfire on the beach, pinata for our cousin Nicole's birthday, Jenni and Uncle Ben's salsa contest, and Grandpa and Grandma dancing...memories for a lifetime.
