4th of July

Happy Fourth of July! We had a great day that started with a pancake breakfast in our neighborhood.






Our Little Firecracker was thrilled to be there! It was outside, mind you, at 8am in 100 degree weather. (It got up to 117 by the afternoon.) After the breakfast we went home and relaxed!! It was wonderful!









To beat the heat, we went to Todd's house for BBQ and swimming. The Stimpson, King and the Giaugue families joined us. It was so much fun! And I gotta say that I made some killer brownies for the occasion! We swam 'til we were puckered beyond belief, roasted marshmallows in the firepit, and watched the fireworks from the backyard after it got dark. Clark missed the fireworks because he was asleep in Todd's closet. Todd got a real kick out of that; "Wow, never had a baby sleep in my closet before!"
