We went to three different rodeos in 2009! The first one was during our family reunion in Snowflake this past summer. The next one was a month or so later, on our way home from another trip to Snowflake. It was the Payson rodeo, which claims to be the longest continuously running rodeo in the world.
Then on November 20th, we attended our third and final rodeo for the year. The Gilbert Rodeo. The first cold day of the year. I know, I'm spoiled. But we literally froze our tushies off and I'm surprised we stayed through the whole thing. It was soooo cold!
Clark and I braved the cold a few minutes longer on our way out in order to ride the little train they had at the carnival. Riding trains is a big deal. Huge. So we did it, even though our teeth were chattering! The next day we had our family pictures taken, and we all wore our boots to commemorate our year of rodeo attendance.
