Okay, Mom this picture is for you! It's the one that they take when you walk into the zoo and then charge you an arm and a leg for later, but it was worth it because it's a picture of me that I actually like! Not the greatest quality, but whatever. Look at Clark's grumpy pouty face. Stinker.

So anyway, my friend Rachel loaned us like 15 Signing Time dvds just for fun and one of them is called "The Zoo Train." It's the only one of the whole series that Clark ever wants to watch because it's got a train. Needless to say, he was ecstatic when I told him that we were going to the zoo to ride the Zoo Train last Tuesday! (Thanks to Kelli, who got us in for practically nothing!)

I've decided I want a zoo pass for next year because it was SO MUCH FUN! Clark loved the train, of course. But then there were all these really great play areas for the kiddos that were fantastic! Clark had a blast on the spiderweb rope, and climbed all over the rocks and animal sculptures.

And the tree house was to die for. I mean, who
didn't fantasize about a tree house like this when they were kids? It was
two stories. It had two separate entrances and a slide that looked like a big tree trunk. And a stream that ran under it. Even I wanted to play in it!

As you can imagine, I had a hard time pulling Clark away from there. The only thing that finally convinced him that it was time to leave the tree house was a promise for a final ride on the train. It was such a wonderful day. Thanks again Kelli for the great tickets!
