Clark's friend Max came over to play a while back (it was actually November 4th, because his mommy was out at the polls, holding a Prop 102 sign) and I am finally getting around to posting the pictures of these cute boys!

Well, actually, Max is the one that looks really cute in these pictures. My dear Clark looks posessed! Max was a darling the whole time he was at our house. His mom thinks he was probably just scared to be without her, but he seriously was an angel.

I mean, does he look scared to you??? Just kidding Mary Ann. We loved having him at our house. We'll have to plan another play date; one that Clark will actually be awake for. Max just had to hang out with me for half the time, waiting for Clark to get up from his nap.

They both loved playing in our "fort" though. That was a lucky Savers find for 3 buckaroos. Ah the joy of second-hand toys. We're learning that you can get some amazing bargains if you're willing to do a little digging.

Jose and I like to take Clark garage-sale shopping. He gets to ride around and test out toys for a couple hours. What could be more fun than that?!? The toys he plays with for at least 5 minutes are the winners. I'm always excited when we find kids' books in good condition. Otherwise, our little library would break the bank!

p.s. we will have to have a play date soon...every day when Max wakes up I ask him what he wants to do and he always says "how about go play a Clark's house, mommy?"
