little boy BIG SHADOW
We went to the park today. Clark likes to ride (and push!) his new wagon. He got it from Jose and his uncle David for Christmas. It's pretty cute to watch him trying to get in by himself.
He likes to throw the ball backwards over his head. We're not so sure that will make him too popular in gym class, but I'm sure he'll figure out some day that historically, it's easier to aim when you can watch where the ball is going to end up. Of course, he did really surprise me today by actually dribbling the ball, soccer-style, down the hallway... so maybe he knows what he's doing after all!
Soon, however, playing catch was ditched in favor of exploring the wide open space! He just kept on toddling around to his little heart's content! No mommy telling him "no! no!" And he just laughed and laughed and laughed. Walking is SO FUN.
I'm not sure if he's really looking at his shadow, but I like to think that he is. It's not the first time that he noticed his shadow, but I didn't have my camera last time. Sweet boy.
Clark LOVES the swings. Remember, this is the child that likes to MOVE AT ALL TIMES. So, yeah, swings are great. Lots of laughing. Lots of smiles. But man, is it tricky to get a picture of that kid when he's swinging! Luckily, persistence paid off and my last two shots were in-focus smiles!
