Bag Lady
Well, thank goodness I had cleaned out my purse the day before Jen tagged me with the "Bag Tag." No really, it's true. Jose gave me this bag, by the way, for our anniversary last year, and I love it because it's big enough to contain the following: my cream wallet, Shout wipes (a must for any mother... they're for the mommy's outfit, not the baby's!), 2 diapers, hand sanitizer, grocery list, bank deposit receipt (Yea!), a car game we got in a kids meal at Chick-Fil-A called Tell Me, scrapbook squares dispenser (don't have a clue how that got in there, but that doesn't hold a candle to Jen's mac 'n' cheese!), a bag of Dum Dums, (used as a last resort on the flight to Mexico... we only had to have one), several pens, a spoon (thank you Clark for dumping that in Mommy's bag), a tampon (I had to ask the Walmart lady for it because the dispenser in the bathroom didn't work; I know you have all been there and know what I'm talking about!), and my keys (so that's where they are!).
This is the diaper bag I used everyday until Jose bought the other one. Now I just use it on Sundays 'cause black goes with everything and it's bigger and it holds even more stuff: the whistle Clark's Grandpa Ascension gave him in Mexico, a medicine dispenser (only for the purpose of having something to chew on--for Clark, not me, although maybe I should give it a nibble sometime...), diaper rash cream (which we haven't had to use very often, thank goodness), plastic bags for smelly diapers, a Christmas themed bib, a diaper, my sunglasses (also used for Clark's chewing pleasure), a couple empty eye drops containers (can you guess what Clark does with them?), pens (uh-huh), toothbrush (yep), my old cellphone (is there anything this kid doesn't put in his mouth?), Airborne, the Joseph Smith manual (Clark tried to chew on that, but Mommy wouldn't let him because it has to last us 2 YEARS!), and a Shout wipe. On Sundays we pack in about a zillion books and a lunch for Clark, usually consisting of freeze dried fruit, green beans or corn, a sippy cup of water, fruit snacks, and pretzels or puffs.
