We had some friends over the other day (really about a month or so ago, but really who's counting how frequently I update my blog?) to play in the kiddie pool in the backyard. We three moms were pretty exhausted by the time the kids had tried to come in and out of the house for the gazillionth time after being told, "In or Out!" a gazillion times plus twelve. Thank goodness (kidding, sorta) Charlie busted his lip on the pool. That gave me the idea to give 'em all popsicles. The ensuing silence, obedience, and immobilization were remarkable.
