Jose turned 35 on September 6th! We had a great day. Here's the rundown...
Jose couldn't wait to open his presents. He was cracking me up the night before his birthday. He wanted to open them at midnight, but I told him that he had to wait for Clark in the morning. I know, I'm so mean.

Here's the birthday boy, happily opening up presents before breakfast. Poor guy didn't get much, that's for sure. But it was fun. Clark really got into it, "helping" his dad. Then I made pancakes and eggs. Yum!
That afternoon, Jose took Clark and I on his work errands, and then we went to the flea market in Phoenix. Got some pirated Disney DVD's; we were dumb and thought they were real, brought 'em home and they will only play in our DVD player if the moon is full or something.
Then, that night Jose and I went to get a couple's massage. It was our anniversary gift to each other, but we couldn't go on our anniversary. So, that was great! We topped off the night sharing fajitas at Chili's and then watching Indiana Jones at the dollar theater, which was a total ripoff in my opinion. Don't waste your dollar!

Sunday night we had friends over for cake, cream cheese brownies, and Toby's oreo truffles (which were a huge hit)! Here's Clark trying to blow out Jose's lonely candle. (I forgot to buy more and only had 3 pink candles and one red one in my stash. I opted for the one red on the cake.)

David Aguilar, Nancy Eugenis, the Stimpsons, the Kings and the Scovilles all came to celebrate with us. We had a great time. Wish we'd taken more pictures. I always forget 'cause I'm having too much fun chit-chatting with friends. We are so blessed to have such great friends. Happy Birthday Honey!
