"Honey, I want to show you something"

I had never heard of Paul Potts until last night around 1:00 am when Jose told me he wanted to show me something. We had just gotten in from our date night and I was tired and ready for bed and not too interested in anything else. We don't have TV, so this may be overkill for those of you who know what the heck is going on in the world; but for me, well, this was inspirational. When I saw that it was a clip from Britain's Got Talent, I thought, "Oh, goodie, we get to see a big flop," and then I saw Paul walk on stage and I thought, "Oh, no, please don't let this guy be horrible, Simon will crush him." Having auditioned a few times in my life, all I can say about this audition is ... Goosebumps. All over. Paul Potts is extraordinary and we are blessed to see him shine. I was, of course, overcome. Cried through the whole thing. Thanks, Jose, for making my night.
